At last, the ice is broken. Forty-five years of relentless, vigorous and rigorous study, practice, observation and teaching of Homoeopathy [not as a bread winning profession but out of sheer academic interest] has not gone waste.
I am the same Dr. V. Krishnamurthy, (now 74 years of age) who first suggested the homoeo medicine Bryonia-1000, for dengue fever and thousands of patients got total relief with one single dose. Even children in i. c. unit were discharged in a day or two, after one dose.
So also, I am the same Dr. V. Krishnamurthy of Chennai who is the first to suggest the name of another medicine Boletus Laricis-10M (otherwise called Polyporus officinale) for chikungunya disease and with this remedy given in single dose, thousands of victims, without exception got total relief. How did I select the remedy Boletus Laricis for chikungunya? An unusual gloom was on the face of chikungunya patients. Dr. Calvin B. Knerr’s REPERTORY; Chapter 1—MIND AND DISPOSITION—Gloomy, in ague: Polyp.
If there is no Lilienthal and no Knerr’s Repertory, there can be no real or genuine homoeopathy.
So also, the dreaded swine flu, as suggested by me first, was magically relieved totally in just a few hours of taking one dose of another homoeo remedy Merc-sol-10M. A Letter from a medical practitioner whose wife was very much relieved with one dose is given below:

How could I select Merc-sol. for swine flu? Swine flu victims died of pneumonia. Among the remedies given under the chapter Pneumonia in Lilienthal only in two remedies, we find the words ‘epidemic pneumonia’ viz., Ferr-met. and Merc-sol. Ifanyone carefully reads the mind symptoms of these two remedies in Wilkinson’s Materia Medica, he would at once decide Merc-sol.
Coming to the present life-threatening pandemic, look at the lamentations of victims of covid and/or those who recovered from covid. Their symptoms coincide exactly with the following words given under the homoeo remedy Kali-bromatum in the reference book HOMOEOPATHIC THERAPEUTICS by Dr. Samuel Lilienthal (page 698) in the chapter ‘Melancholia.’
Kali-brom: Imagines he is especially singled out as an object of Divine vengeance, thinks all her friends HAVE DESERTED her, is full of religious delusions and a feeling of moral deficiency; nervous restlessness, cannot sit still, must move about or otherwise occupy himself; insomnia; frequent shedding of tears; low-spirited, childish, giving way to her feelings; indifference and almost tired of life; profound anaemia.
My selection of the remedy Kali-bromatum is justified by the mental picture of the following two persons:
Thomas Schaefer, the Finance Minister of Germany’s Hesse state, has committed suicide apparently after becoming “deeply worried” after covid ‘virus crisis worries’. Dr. Lorna M. Breen, 49, was the medical director of New York-Presbyterian the Allen Hospital, an emergency room doctor; she worked at an upper Manhattan hospital, killed herself after becoming distraught over the pandemic virus, her family said.
There are two symptoms in the above persons:
(a) “A feeling of unable to save his citizens” (feeling of moral deficiency);
(b) “Commits suicide” – giving way to her feelings.
Both the above symptoms are found in one remedy only, viz., Kali-bromatum, as given above in Lilienthal’s. The most unfortunate thing is that Dr. Lilienthal and Calvin B. Knerr’s REPERTORY is not taught in homoeopathy colleges, the professors are not aware of this and most homoeopaths do not have a copy of this. Even a handful of those practitioners having a copy do not seem to have ever used it at all. Now, coming to the other side, in India, in Tamil Nadu —one teenage boy on the third day of lockdown, committed suicide because he was not able to move out of the house freely; the other case was in a hospital undergoing treatment for pandemic. In addition, the majority of those who are confined inside their house are restless and with a feeling that he must go out. These symptoms exactly fits in with the mental picture of home-confined persons with the words quoted above, viz., nervous restlessness, cannot sit still, must move about or otherwise occupy him.
Why should I analyze the mind picture of those affected by covid? Most of the homoeo practitioners are not constantly keeping in mind Section 213 of the Organon, which says that without prescribing on mind symptoms, a cure is not possible.
Thus, and therefore, one dose of KALI-BROMATUM-10M may be given once every 42 days, as a preventive. Also persons tested positive may take one dose. During the last few weeks, we have given Kali-bnromatum-10M, one dose, to those waiting for being admitted in the hospital and those on oxygen; all of them got magically relieved. Homoeo medicines ARE NOT AT ALL GIVEN REPEATEDLY which the reader must note.

Said Dr. Charles Gatchell in a review of HOMOEOPATHIC THERAPEUTICS, “… it is an extraordinarily useful book and those who add it to their library will never feel regret…”
In a review, Dr. Samuel A. Jones said about Lilienthal’s as under: “For the fresh graduate this book will be invaluable… to the older one who says he has no use of this book, we have nothing to say. He is a good one to avoid when well, and to dread when ill.”
It would be no exaggeration to say thus: Let no one practise homoeopathy who does not make use of Lilienthal. It is most disappointing to find that no one talks about Dr. Lilienthal’s work, be it in seminar papers, monthly meetings or articles in journals Cases quoted above would convince the reader that if a practitioner can memorise the symptoms of various remedies given in the chapter MELANCHOLIA in Lilienthal, he would be able to select the remedy in more than fifty per cent of cases, that too at the very first attempt. We now hope what the reader understands when we write that the short cut to Lilienthal is the chapter MELANCHOLIA therein. Jai Lilienthal!
