RRI (H) Guwahati is the first institute under Central Council for Research in Homeopathy to start the ambitious Homeopathy for School Health Programme.
Guwahati: “Homeopathy is safe, cost effective and treats all medical complications.” With the idea of promoting homeopathic treatment and taking it to the grassroots, Regional Research Institute (Homeopathy) Guwahati has recently started the three-year (2022-2025) ‘Homeopathy for School Health Programme’ at various government schools of Guwahati.
The RRI (H) is the first institute under Central Council for Research in Homeopathy to start this programme.
The Officer-in-charge of RRI (H) Guwahati said, “Minister of Ayush Sarbananda Sonowal is also acting as a catalyst in promoting Homeopathy as an alternative. It is because of him and his constant support that today Assam had become the first state to start such an important programme.”
Giving a detailed outline of the initiative, Dr Liyi Karso, Nodal officer of the programme, said, “Children are the future of the country and uplifting and promoting their health play a crucial role in the nation-building process.”
“This year, the Central Council for Research in Homeopathy has initiated Homoeopathy for School Health programme for incorporating homeopathic approach in lower primary schools so that more and more children get benefitted,” he added.
Dr Karso extended her thanks to the Ministry of Ayush and the CCRH for selecting the RRI (H) as the pioneer of the ambitious School Health Programme. The project is currently being implemented in 10 Lower primary (class-1 to class 5) government schools of the city.
The institute had recently organized an orientation and training programme of the 10 selected Homeopathic consultants. An interactive session was also organized where doctors were allotted schools.
