KENTS REPERTORY: James Tyler Kent A.M Born in March 31st 1849 in Woodhull Chicago NY. Total Chapter are 37 which includes Urinary Organs are Separate Bladder, Kidney, Prostate Gland, Urethra, Urine. In 6th Edition Total 39 Chapter DR. Pierre Schmidt added 2 chapters smell and voice. But Dr. KunzliJost reduced to 29 chapter. 1st Indian edition in 1961 and 2nd one in 1973. Kent used 3 grade of Topography bold, italics, roman.1423 pages. 245 Rubric in Generalities Chapter and 1723 sub rubric and 38 cross reference, 48 rubric related to Mental, 41 rubric related to Physical, 44 rubric related to Disease state, 16 rubric related to Suppression. All arranged in Hahnemann Anatomical Schema Alphabetical Order. Kent has given more Importance to the General Symptoms which are Mental and Physical Generals and then Particulars and Lastly to the Common Symptoms. In Generalities chapter as follows Time, General Modalities, Ailments, Season Aggravation, Heat Aggravation, General Sensation, Signs, Remedy suited to, Miasm, Particular Rubric, Poison. Kent Generalities Section found at the end of the Kent Repertory. Generalities are symptoms are true of the whole person rather than of a particular part of the body. They are symptoms of which we can say I instead MY. I may be chilly Person(1366) but my left leg what hurts(1043). In Kent Repertory there is no separate sensation and complaint chapter only skin chapter has been mention other all general rubric in Generalities chapter.
