Abstract
Cholelithiasis is a common hepatobiliary disorder characterized by the formation of gallstones within the gallbladder, often resulting in pain in the right hypochondrium, digestive disturbances, and constitutional symptoms. It is prevalent among adults due to lifestyle factors, dietary habits, and metabolic disturbances. The conventional management mainly includes surgical intervention, whereas homeopathy aims at treating the patient constitutionally to restore health and prevent recurrence.
Introduction
Cholelithiasis refers to the formation of gallstones in the gallbladder due to the precipitation of cholesterol, bilirubin, or mixed substances from bile. It is a widely prevalent condition affecting the adult population and commonly presents with right-sided abdominal pain, dyspepsia, nausea, and bloating. Gallstones may remain asymptomatic in some individuals, while in others they may produce recurrent biliary colic or complications such as inflammation and infection.
Several etiological factors such as dietary habits, sedentary lifestyle, metabolic disorders, and genetic predisposition contribute to the development of gallstones. In conventional medicine, the primary management includes analgesics, antibiotics in acute inflammation, and surgical procedures such as cholecystectomy for confirmed symptomatic cases. However, these approaches mainly address the pathological condition without considering the individual constitution.
Homeopathy views cholelithiasis not merely as a mechanical disorder but as a manifestation of an underlying constitutional imbalance. The treatment is therefore directed at correcting the internal disturbance through a carefully selected remedy based on the totality of symptoms. Constitutional prescribing plays a vital role in restoring health at the physical, mental, and emotional levels. This case report demonstrates how individualized homeopathic management led to symptomatic relief and overall improvement in a patient suffering from cholelithiasis, emphasizing the significance of holistic and patient-centered care and preventing surgery.

CONCLUSION
The selection of Lycopodium based on the totality of symptoms proved effective, and strategic use of intercurrent and organ-specific remedies supported the healing process.
The resolution of symptoms and normalization of ultrasound findings highlight the potential of homeopathy as a holistic and non-invasive treatment modality in gall bladder disorders. This case supports the principle that treating the patient as a whole rather than focusing solely on the disease leads to better and sustained outcomes.
