Acute DERMATITIS is a sudden onset inflammatory skin condition often triggered by irritants,allergens,infections,or environmental factors.Although in Allopathic system of medicine corticosteroids and antihistamines are commonly prescribed,their long -term use may cause side effects.
This case study explores the role of Homoeopathy-a holistic,non-toxic system of medicine-in curing the acute DERMATITIS, which after proper case taking and reportorisation cured by Arsenic Album 200;offering individualized treatment approaches with minimal adverse effects.

The word “dermatitis” is derived from:
Greek Roots
1. Derma (δέρμα): Meaning “skin”
2. -itis (-ῖτις): Suffix indicating “inflammation”
Combining the Roots
The combination of “derma” and “-itis” forms the word “dermatitis,” literally meaning “skin inflammation.”

Came to OPD of GHMC Bhopal presenting the complaints of sudden onset redness with burning eruptions and itching.
Location -Around the neck
Duration -since 3 days
Symptoms-Itching(++), burning(+++)after scratching, perspiration, redness, dryness, swelling,
Aggravation-Heat, perspiration, scratching after

Past Illness-Not specific

Selfish person;

DISCUSSION:
This case illustrates the efficacy of Homoeopathy in curing the acute DERMATITIS particularly when the symptoms are matched closely with a remedy profile.
Arsenic Album 200 is given, water od for 5 days on empty stomach .On the fifth day,60% of the symptoms were reduced and pt felt better.On the 8 th day,there is complete relief of all the symptoms within a week.
CONCLUSION:
Homoeopathy treatment when individualized can offer rapid and effective relief in case of acute DERMATITIS .It shows miraculous effects in acute cases.
The above case of acute DERMATITIS is cured completely by single similimum medicine that is Arsenic Album 200 without conventional drugs.
