Abstract:
This is a case report of elderly woman who was diagnosed with lichen eczema. She was treated using conventional medicine by dermatologists without any relief. Sulphur, selected using the application of concept total symptomatology, relieved the patient’s symptoms.
WHAT IS ECZEMA:
◾ ECZEMA:It is a inflammatory condition of the skin characterized by redness, itching, and oozing vesicular lesions which become scaly, crusted, or hardened.
Causes of eczema:
➡️Emotional distress
➡️ Occupational hazards like exposure to allergic agents.eg. chemical agents, disinfectants.
Symptoms in adults:
The rash usually happens on your face, the backs of your knees, wrists, hands, or feet.
According to homoeopathic principles, suppressed eruptions always lead to deeper diseases; therefore, such eruptions should be treated with homoeopathic individualized medicine.There are many medicines in the homoeopathic repertory and materia medica for the treatment of eczema; the prescription of a remedy is based primarily on the presenting complaints of the patient.

?Patient Age :-41yrs/F
Description of patient: Patient is moderately built,wheatish complexion.
Presenting Compl:-Eczematous lesions started gradually on the lower limbs and the spread bilaterally.Extended to Upper limbs,fingers,Nipples.Aggravated by Heat, morning.Slight amelioration during noon.
Severe Itching ,Rawness, Oozing Watery discharge from the Eczematous Eruptions since 4 months.
Took allopathic medication and used ointments.Still relapses occuring.
? Family History:-
Mother-Healthy
Father -H/O Skin complaints.
? Physical Generals-
Appetite:-Decreased
Desires :-Sour++
Intolerance :-Oily food
Bowels: Constipated since the skin complaint started.
Thermals:Hot patient++
Sleep:Disturbed due to itching.
?Mentals:⏩Worried about family issues.
⏩Irritated ,Gets anger easily.
⏩ Cannot find correct word while Talking.
➡️ DIAGNOSIS:Eczema
CASE ANALYSIS:-
▶️Irritable,Gets anger easily .
▶️ Cannot find right word while talking.
▶️Worried about family.
▶️Desires sour food.
▶️ Decreased appetite.
▶️ Intolerance to oily food.
▶️ Alternative constipation since the skin complaint started.
▶️Hot patient
▶️ Eczematous lesions started gradually on the lower limbs and spread bilaterally.

▶️Severe itching, Rawness, Oozing Watery discharge from the Eczematous eruptions

Rx: Sulphur 1M -1 dose
Follow up:
18/5/2021
Sulphur 1M – 1dose
SL – for 15 days .
Result:After 15 days
▪ Itching reduced by 70%
▪ Oozing decreased
▪ Dryness at the lesions.
