RENAL AWARENESS 15 DAYS RATH YATRA CAMPAIGN
Rath Yatra campaign for the awareness of renal failure and kidney related problems conducted by Human Assistance Foundation was inaugurated on March 21, 2023 by Honourable Minister of AYUSH Shri Dayashankar Mishra Dayalu ji  from Ayush Minister’s residence.
Services provided in the camp included
1. Free consultation for kidney and all diseases
 2. Free Blood Pressure & Blood Sugar Checkup
 3. Free Kidney Failure Screening Test
 4. Other Kidney Tests at 50% Discount
 5. Diet advice
 6. Advice to stay away from stress and tension
 7. Yoga camp by Prayag Arogyam Kendra
 8. Low cost dialysis facility.
The rath then moved forward to Jawahar bhawan and Civil Hospital and patients were benefited with the facilities available.

A camp was held at Sahara Hospital where a large number of patients were benefited by the free health facilities.
Rath then moved forward to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital Gomti Nagar a camp was held and patients were counselled.

23- March
It was the generosity of KGMU VC Lt. Gen. Dr Bipin Puri sir to flag off the Rath Yatra from KGMU campus Lucknow where we held the camp and consulted over 200 patients and conducted free tests to create awareness about Renal Diseases.
The rath then moved forward to Era Medical College where we met Dr. Farzana Mehndi ,Vice Chancellor, Era Medical College and University. She along with her team felicitated all of us ,even the saarthi, the driver of our Rath Deepak before she flagged off the Rath Yatra.
Separate camps were conducted at Safed Masjid in Dubagga,
Santoshi Mata Mandir and Koneshwar Mahadev Mandir chowk, Nakkhas, Akbari gate and Gol Darwaza where a lot of patients were given free consultation and free tests were also done.

On 24 March the rath started its journey for awadh chauraha to alambagh chauraha till lokbandhu.
There were a lot of patients at awadh chauraha camp.
On its way the Rath reached Ganga hospital, where Dr Sandeep Shukla and Dr Rashmi welcomed and encouraged us. His sister in law, Senior Gynaecologist, Dr. (Mrs) P Shukla flagged off the Rath Yatra from Ganga Children Hospital, Krishna Nagar, Lucknow.

On 25 March Camp for awareness and prevention of Renal disorders especially Renal Failure was at Kalidas Marg, near CM residence. It was very well received by staff and security personnel and almost all of them participated and got themselves checked.
The Rath then reached Aminabad thana. Thanks a lot ACP Prakash Chandra Agarwal sir and thana staff for letting us use their space for the camp and managing the crowd as there were a lot of patients.
Afterwards, the rath reached its end destination for the day at Nagar Nigam Lalbagh where ,also a camp was conducted and a lot of patients were screened.

On 26 March Camp and Rath Yatra for awareness and prevention of Renal disorders especially Renal Failure started at Residence of Ex Dy CM Dinesh Sharma sir. MLA of our locality Dr Neeraj Bora sir was also present. The staff members present were all screened and advised. Special thanks to Dr. Avinash Srivastava for joining us for camp and Rath Yatra at Ex Dy Chief Minister’s residence next to Lucknow University, and giving consultation to our patients.
Ex Dy CM Dinesh Sharma sir and Dr. Bora flagged off the Rath Yatra from there. Rath then reached Sahara States where patient counselling was done, home visit was given especially to senior citizens present there. Afterwards a camp was also conducted at I.E.T Chauraha a huge number of patients benefited with the facilities available in the camp.

On 27 March Rath Yatra was flagged off by Our seniors from Kanpur and Lucknow from VVIP Guest House opposite Loreto convent from where it reached Mrs Sanyukta Bhatia, Mayor Lucknow’s residence near Srinagar Nagar Metro Station where she discussed at length about our ongoing projects at orphanages and rehabilitation centres of Lucknow. She has assured us of all possible help and support.
The Mayor then flagged off the Rath Yatra from her residence.
The rath then reached S.G.P.G.I where a large number of patients were screened and free tests were done. Retd DySP Mr O P Mishra Sir and Arun Kumar Misra sir showed their support and flagged off our Rath from Naman Guest House.
Eminent pathologist Dr P K Gupta, flagged off our Rath Yatra from his PK Pathology near SGPGI Lucknow.
Rath then reached Amber Masjid, Vrindavan Colony where a Camp was conducted and patients were given free consultation and free health check up.
Shaista Ambar ma’am showed her support for this Rath Yatra and flagged off our Rath from Amber Masjid, Vrindavan Colony.

On 28 March Rath started its journey by a flag off  from Uttar Pradesh Tourism Minister Shri Jaiveer Singh sir’s residence.
Over 50 security personnel were screened for Renal Failure at camp in his residence. Sir stated that AYUSH Tourism is on top of his priority list among 9 other departments.
Rath’s next destination was at the residence of Finance minister Sri Suresh Khanna sir. Camp was conducted there all his staff and security personnel were screened for Renal Failure. We tried explaining to the Finance minister and OSD Mr O P Singh Sir that screening cost is very low and the ministry should allocate some budget for the same and there should be a cell in each government hospital.
Rath then reached Integral University where it was Flagged off by Dean Medical College Dr Sudha Chandra, Prof (Dr) Tahseen Usmani Dean, Director and Proctor, Dr M A Khalid Dean Students Welfare.
Here also a Camp was conducted and patients were given free consultation and free health checkups.

On 29 March the rath yatra started from Lohia park where it was flagged off by Dr. Ravi Bhatt eminent historian, from Gate 2 of Lohia park. Many patients were screened at the camp.
Additional Chief Secretary, Home Guards, Mr. Anil Kumar flagged off the Rath Yatra to create awareness about Renal Diseases, from gate number 3 of Lohia Park.
There were patients who were unaware about their raised blood pressure and blood sugar, proper counselling was provided to such patients.
Chief Secretary Uttar Pradesh Tourism Mr. Mukesh Kumar Meshram, flagged off the Rath Yatra from Paryatan Bhawan Gomti Nagar. We conducted a camp there too, and a lot of staff members were checked.
Rath then reached Lohia hospital where it was Flagged off by Dean RMLIMS Lucknow, Dr Nuzhat Hussain ma’am.
Patients at the camp were very happy as they received proper counselling and check up.

On 30 March rath started its journey from Etihasik gurudwara at Yahiyaganj where 9th and 10th Guru had stayed. It also has hand written Guru Granth Sahib. We were fortunate to hold a camp here and Parminder Singh ji flagged off our Rath Yatra.
From there it reached Zahoor Bux Church, Lalbagh Great to see people from all religions getting themselves checked in all religious places. Muslims, Hindus, Sikh, Christians were present in both Gurudwara and Church.
We reached Bahai Prayer Hall Lalbagh,the Rath was flagged off from there.
A camp was also held at Hanuman Setu Lucknow during the journey.
Renal awareness Rath Yatra was also at Islamic Center Aishbagh Lucknow for distribution of clothes for the needy.
Rath was also flagged off by Imam sahab of Shahi Jama Masjid, Kapoorthala.
Many patients were screened there.

On 31 March Rath started by a flag off from the “Right-hand man” (as Wikipedia states )of Hon’ble CM and presently Consultant Sri Avneesh Awasthi sir and the gorgeous Malini Awasthi ma’am from their beautiful residence. We screened his staff members too.
The rath then moved forward and
Ms Roshan Jacob ma’am, Commissioner Lucknow flagged off our Rath Yatra from Commissioner office.
There’s a health ATM inside the campus therefore we counselled the staff of its use and importance of keeping BP and Blood sugar under control.
SDM Lucknow Sri Bipin Kumar Mishra sir flagged off the Rath Yatra from Collectorate Lucknow. Here also a large number of patients were screened.

On April 1 the rath yatra was started by a Flag off by former State Minister Shri Radheyshyam Gupta sir and BJP General Secretary Uttar Pradesh Sri Sanjay Gupta sir, from their residence. All family members and staff present there were screened.
Rath then moved forward for a Flag off by ace photographer Mr. Ravi Kapoor from Sahara Tower kapoorthala and a camp was conducted over there.
Further on its journey it was Flagged off  by IAS and famous shayar Sri Manish Shukla sir from Yojna Bhawan.
During the journey camp was also conducted at Bodhi sattva vihar at Latouche road.
Camp at Parsee Anjuman, Mira Bai Marg was conducted where patients were screened and counselled and provided with free B.P and Blood Sugar tests. Rath was flagged off by Ms Zarine.
The rath then moved forward and reached Sikander Bagh, Mariners Welfare Association’s President Mr. A.A Khan and Secretary Mr. Asif Khan flagged off the Rath from Alisha Apartment.
There also patients were screened and benefited by the free health facilities provided in the camp.
The rath then reached Globe Medicare where Senior Gastro Physician and driving force behind Globe Medicare, Dr. Deepak Agarwal flagged off our Rath from hospital premises.
Patients were given free consultation and free health check ups at the camp.

On April 2 Rath started its next day journey from the residence of oldest practising Company Secretary of North India Mr. R.K. Tandon and his son Mr. Rishi Tandon where they flagged off our Rath. All family members and staff were screened.
The next destination was  Shalimar emerald the residence of Sri Swami Sarang, management and spiritual guru, social and peace activist from where he flagged off our Rath.
Here also patients were screened and counselled.
Senior lawyer Sri L P Mishra sir flagged off the Rath Yatra from his chamber. He talked about his own short stint with social work and lauded our efforts.
Sudhanshu Mani sir, mastermind behind Vande Bharat or Train 18, India’s first modern semi-high speed train, flagged off the Rath Yatra from Rohtas Presidency and appreciated our efforts.
Patients were given free consultation and free health check ups.
A Flag off by Kathavachak Ms. Niketa Tripathi ji at Triveni Nagar was also done during the journey. All who were present there were screened and counselled.
Dr Priyanka Maurya, BJP leader, social worker and most importantly a Homoeopathic Doctor, flagged off our Rath Yatra from her Clinic near Piccadilly Hotel.

On April 3 the day started by State Minister for Minority Welfare and Waqf Mr Danish Azad flagging off our Rath from his residence. His security personnel, staff, guests and family members were screened for Renal Failure.
Magsaysay award (Nobel Prize of Asia) winner Mr Sandeep Pandey Sir, flagged off our Rath Yatra from his residence in Indira Nagar. A camp was conducted for the awareness of renal failure and patients were screened.
Advocate Yogendra Nath Srivastava sir flagged off our Rath Yatra from Civil court campus.
Many patients were screened and counselled there.
The Rath then moved forward to Balrampur Hospital where a large number of patients were screened and provided with free B.P and Blood Sugar tests.

On April 4 the day started with Mahavir Jayanti celebrations at Jainco Chikan Showroom, Kapoorthala.
The Rath was flagged off by Princess Samaira, Dr Meghna Jain and Mr Shreyansh Jain and we screened his staff.
Camp at BJP karyalay, Nirala Nagar, Lucknow was also conducted where a lot of people were screened and counselled.
Mr. Mohit Suri , Chairman, Indian Industries Association, Lucknow Chapter, flagged off our Rath from Hanuman Mandir Nirala Nagar. A large number of patients benefited with the facilities available at the camp here.
The overall motive of this Rath Yatra campaign was to make  people aware about the renal failure and kidney disorders .This was done for Human welfare. Human welfare is above all religions to support this thought camps were conducted at almost all religious places around the city

The camps were conducted to spread awareness about renal failure and kidney diseases with which most of the people are still unaware.
“Manav Sewa parmo dharma”. Human Assistance Foundation believes in this and thus is working hard to prove the worth of its name.
During the camp it was seen that a lot of patients were unaware of their raised blood pressure and blood sugar and also high creatinine levels and protein in urine and these findings were shared and proper counselling was provided to them.

On April 5, the awareness campaign run by Human Assistance Foundation was concluded by Honorable Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister Mr. Brijesh Pathak.
 Lucknow.  A 15-day Rath Yatra program being run by Human Assistance Foundation to create awareness about kidney and related diseases in the city, which was inaugurated by Hon’ble Dayashankar Mishra, Minister of AYUSH (Independent Charge) in the leadership of Mrs. Leena Johri, Principal Secretary, Department of AYUSH, is now moving towards its end.
Services provided at the camp included
1. Free consultation for kidney and all diseases.
 2. Free Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar Checkup.
 3. Free Kidney Failure Screening Test.
 4. Other Kidney Tests at 50% off.
 5. Dietary Advice.
 6. Advice to stay away from stress and tension.
 7. Yoga Camp by Prayag Arogyam Center.
 8. Low cost dialysis facility.
This successful awareness campaign was concluded by Honorable Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister Mr. Brijesh Pathak by showing the green flag along with Dr. Rupesh Pandey.  On this occasion, all the volunteers of Human Assistance Foundation

Ameer Siddiqui,  Mishal Kapoor,  Namra were also present.  Brijesh Pathak was honoured by Dr. Amit Mehrotra on this occasion by covering him with a shawl.  We have told our purpose of running this awareness campaign through a short film, which was also screened at this function today.  In further conversation, Dr. Lubna Kamal told the minister how lives can be saved by a simple test and homeopathic medicines and requested him that the amount given by the government for dialysis and kidney transplant, if even a small part of it is given for testing, which can be done for only Rs 100, then the burden of the government will be reduced to a great extent and many lives can also be saved.
 Honorable Minister asked for a letter of our requests made to the government, which was handed over to the Minister by Dr. Lubna Kamal.
 We are grateful to the Minister that even in the midst of such busyness and crowd, he took out time and saw all the pictures of our Rath Yatra campaign and ended our kidney related diseases awareness campaign by boosting our spirits.
