The President highlighted importance of scientific research in verifying authenticity of Homeopathic treatments and in increasing the confidence of people in this medical system.
President Droupadi Murmu inaugurated a two-day Homoeopathy Symposium in New Delhi. The event is being organised by the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy under the auspices of the Ministry of AYUSH.
While the President emphasised the importance of research in the 21st century, she highlighted the need for greater emphasis on research and proficiency in order to further enhance the acceptance and popularity of Homoeopathy, the Press Information Bureau (PIB) said in a press statement issued Wednesday.
It added that she expressed her gratitude to the Ministry of AYUSH, the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, the National Commission for Homoeopathy, the National Institute of Homoeopathy, and all the other organisations of the Central Government for their contributions to promoting Homoeopathy in India.
