The National Testing Agency (NTA) has invited applications for the National Teachers Eligibility Test (NTET)-2025 for postgraduates of the disciplines of Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani of the Indian system of medicine & homeopathy who desire to take up teaching profession.
The NTET is a test to assess teaching aptitude; communication skills; classroom management; teaching, training, and assessment technology; student psychology; andragogy; pedagogy; or such other as may be specified by the commissions from time to time.
The teachers’ eligibility shall be valid for a period of ten years from the date of qualifying for the National Teachers’ Eligibility Test for Indian System of Medicine/Homoeopathy. However, those who fail to join the teaching profession within a period of ten years or wish to join the teaching profession after a break of ten years or more after obtaining NTET eligibility have to qualify for the National Teachers’ Eligibility Test for Indian System of Medicine/Homoeopathy once again to join or rejoin the teaching profession.
Eligibility: Applicant should hold a postgraduate degree in a discipline recognized by the commissions or erstwhile Central Council for Indian System of Medicine/Central Council of Homoeopathy. Detailed eligibility requirements are given in the Information Bulletin at https://exams.nta.ac.in/NTET/
