The North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda & Homoeopathy (NEIAH), Shillong, has announced the National Seminar on Recent Advancements in Ayurveda & Homoeopathy 2026 — a prestigious event bringing together practitioners, academicians, researchers, and students from across the country. Sponsored by the Ministry of AYUSH, this seminar will be held on 19th and 20th March 2026 on the institute’s campus in Mawdiangdiang, Shillong.
The seminar aims to highlight the latest developments in traditional medical systems and their modern clinical, research, and integrative healthcare applications. A broad range of topics are planned for discussion, including management of non-communicable diseases, reproductive and geriatric health, neuro-musculoskeletal conditions, dermatological disorders, pediatric care, de-addiction therapies, and the role of artificial intelligence in AYUSH drug development and healthcare innovation.
In preparation for the event, the organizers have issued a call for abstracts, inviting researchers and practitioners to submit their original contributions for oral and poster presentations. The deadline for abstract submission is 7th March 2026, and interested delegates are encouraged to register early due to limited seating.
Participants will gain exposure to cutting-edge clinical strategies, evidence-based research findings, and opportunities to network with leading experts in Ayurveda and Homoeopathy. Awards will be presented for outstanding papers, and certificates will be provided to all presenters.
Registration fees have been structured to accommodate a variety of delegates, from undergraduate students to experienced practitioners. The fee includes seminar materials and refreshments throughout the two-day event.
