During childhood normal cells divide faster to permit the person to grow. Once adulthood is reached the cells divide to exchange worn-out cells and to repair injuries. They have longer life spans and rather than dying still grow and form new, abnormal cells and responsible for the development of the Carcinoma like Lungs, stomach, Breast, Brain, Spinal cord etc. Among this Carcinoma of breast arising from the lactiferous ducts which are called as Ductal Carcinoma. Cancer patients have altered metabolism, the benefit of Nutrition is not as much as in a non-cancer patient. Routine intravenous feeding is strongly discouraged. Oral feeding or peripheral vein nutrition are more commonly used. Central parenteral nutrition only if essential. Oral diet amplified with nutrient supplement for increased protein, calories, vitamins and minerals. Enteral tube feeding is common. Parenteral nutrition through central and peripheral veins. Salivary gland secretions are commonly affected by carcinoma therapy, so foods with a more liquid content must be used. Nausea is more by diet that are hot, sweet, fatty or spicy.
