The Association of Integrated Medicine (AOIM), an organization dedicated to bridging the gap between various medical systems, recently organized a successful Continuing Medical Education (CME) program at Sunni Inter College, Turia Ganj, Lucknow. The event witnessed the participation of doctors from diverse medical systems, including Modern Medicine, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy, and Yoga. A large number of medical delegates also graced the occasion, making it a significant platform for interdisciplinary exchange.

The CME in Lucknow exemplified AOIM’s commitment to its vision, reinforcing its role as a trailblazer in integrated healthcare. The program was presided over by Professor (Dr.) Abdul Haleem, Principal of Erum Unani Medical College, as the chief guest. Praising the Association’s mission, Dr. Abdul Haleem stated, “AOIM is doing commendable work by bringing all medical paths together. This inclusivity is unparalleled, and I extend my best wishes for the continued success of the Association.”
The CME featured lectures from some of the city’s most distinguished experts. Professor (Dr.) Aleem Siddiqui, Director of Healthy Mind Neuropsychiatric Centre, delivered an insightful presentation on “Mental Disorders,” emphasizing practical ways to manage such conditions effectively. Dr. Lubna Kamal, a Homeopathic Nephrologist, shared valuable knowledge on “Biomedical Waste Management in AYUSH,” highlighting critical practices for ensuring environmental safety. Dr. Umang Khanna, the guest of honor, extended his best wishes to the Association and applauded its efforts.
Dr. Sheikh Mohammed, Vice President of AOIM, provided a detailed presentation on the Association’s achievements over the past year, showcasing its initiatives through an engaging slideshow. Additionally, Dr. K.T. Hasan from Naturopathy demonstrated a quick three-minute technique to rejuvenate the body, which captivated the audience’s interest.
The conference was masterfully anchored by Dr. Amber Siddiqui and Dr. Almas Kidwai, ensuring the program’s smooth flow. Other notable attendees included National Patron of AOIM Dr. Mohammad Irfan, Chief Controller Dr. Rukhsana Siddiqui (Director, R.M.T.C. Hospital), AOIM Chairman Dr. Salman Khalid (Founder Chairman of Fehmina Herbal Pvt. Ltd.), Association Secretary Dr. Monisur Rahman, and eminent doctors such as Dr. A.K. Tripathi, Dr Archita Saxena, Dr Awadhesh Dwivedi, Dr. Ali Khan, Dr. Talha Islam, Dr. Irshad, Dr. Govind Shukla, Saifi Khan, Ataur Rahman and prominent Yogacharya Prashant Shukla.
The CME concluded with the distribution of attendance certificates to all participants. The event fostered interdisciplinary learning, with valuable insights shared by the invited experts that are expected to significantly impact the medical community’s ability to serve society.
AOIM plans to conduct free online classes for allied subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology etc by various experts for students and conduct regular CMEs, Seminars, Competitions and an annual Conference to promote integration and understanding for better healthcare.
