Abstract-
A small kid, presented with recurrent fever since a year, almost every 10 days, with throat pain and headache, requiring hospital admission. Considering the constitutional prescription followed by Complementary remedy and later-Anti-miasmatic, the child is now free from any illness and off medicines since 6 months, with marked improvement.

Case–
Chief Complaints
A 4 year old male child, presented with recurrent attacks of fever for a year. As per the description by the parents, the child falls ill to such an extent that he needs to be rushed to the hospital and requires admission for 3-4 days. Numerous investigations are done, all of which come normal. Despite this, the cause of the recurrent fever- occasionally associated with headache and throat pain, is unknown.
He got discharged yesterday evening and morning is here for the case, with the IV marking still on his hand.
As the mother was narrating the symptoms-I saw the child was extremely scared-on further asking- the mother said- he is scared of doctors and scared of almost everything. I started asking the child his name and symptoms- to which he started crying so loudly and could not be coaxed at all. He turned red and just couldn’t keep quiet. Eventually, the child left the cabin with his father and then the crying stopped.
Whenever the child has fever- his face turns red, head is hot, he becomes irritable and shrieks during fever, becomes angry and starts throwing things when asked something.
But when afebrile- he is just so mild, plays and laughs with his younger sister.
Slightest amount of cold food/chocolate🡪throat pain, hence is avoided by parents at all cost.
Headache- temples- as if the head would burst>pressure.

- Sleep-8 hours, fear of darkness, doesn’t sleep alone.

- P/H-FTND
- F/H-Mother- Eczema on legs, Father- Allergic Bronchitis. Maternal Grandfather- CKD
Mentals as derived from life situations.
- Stays with Parents, younger sister and Grandmother.
- Extremely attached to Grandparents
- He cannot control his anger-when he develops fever
- Many times we have to scold him a lot.
- Doesn’t share toys.
- Doesn’t tell what happened in school
- Doesn’t talk easily to strangers.
- Fear- darkness+, Almost everything is fearful.
- He is happy to receive gifts.
- Likes playing with younger sister, when in good mood.
- As Parents-“We don’t know, kya trigger kar dega, bacche ko. Sometimes we have to hide things from him. He might become aggressive”
- Wants to be a Soldier- when he grows up.
This is all I could elicit from Mother.
Analysis-
I understood this case- a child is fearful by nature- and something that scares him, aggravates him. He was scared, as he thought I am a doctor and might give him injection🡪his reaction🡪started crying loudly, turned red and had to be taken away from consulting chamber. So I understood this case from the Solaneacae family. My Differentials were either Stramonium and Belladona.
Prescription
Belladona 200, 3 doses+FP6X+CP6X tds
I prefer Biochemic instead of SL. Ferrum Phos is known for its anti-inflammatory effect. Calcarea Phos is symbiotic to Ferrum Phos.
