The Letter Received From National Center for Homeopathy is as follows:On behalf of the National Center for Homeopathy, we would like to congratulate you on receiving the Martha Oelman Community Service Award.
This award honors a person who, or organization which, has demonstrated unusual devotion to the practice and promotion of homeopathic treatment in any of these ways:
1. engaging in activities that encourage homeopathic education
2. engaging in activities that encourage homeopathic research
3. showing dedication to the organizations that represent homeopathy nationwide
4. volunteering time and talent
5. using his or her vocational or professional resources for the furtherance of homeopathy
6. cooperating with existing individuals and organizations
7. creating new ways of raising the public’s awareness
8. holding office in homeopathic organizations, either lay or professional.
The award honors the memory of Martha Oelman, a dedicated and skillful advocate for homeopathy who served the community as NCH Media Liaison until her untimely death in 1997. She is remembered for her personal warmth, commitment, dedication and capabilities in all the tasks she undertook. She was thorough, accurate, and reserved, giving more than 100%. She had tremendous impact in expanding awareness of homeopathy through the promotion of accurate public information, her dealings with printed and spoken media, and the example she set for active and clear communication of the merits of homeopathy. She was a model for commitment to the interests of the homeopathic community as a whole.
You have gone out of your way to volunteer and serve the greater homeopathy community, especially in the realm of encouraging homeopathic education. We wanted to share a few of the comments we received as part of your nominations:
Dr. Kavitha brings her personal charm, optimism, hopefulness, trust, enthusiasm, positivity, even prayers and spirituality, while she is burning the midnight oil in service of homeopathy, in service of promotion of homeopathic education, and she does everything in connection with this task while wearing a genuine and perpetual smile on her face.
Kavitha has worked tirelessly for decades to make homeopathic treatment and education accessible to all since the mid-1990s. She has volunteered her time to promote homeopathy worldwide with her many outreach activities, including her KHA study group, Homeopathic World Community, educational sessions and events, and work with her clients. She has demonstrated without doubt that her mission is to serve humanity and bring our healing art to all.
All in all, it gives us great pleasure to notify you that you have been selected for the Martha Oelman Community Service Award.
