He was also a Professor at an Acupuncture college in California. Dr Luc had received a Diploma from the British Institute of Homoeopathy (DI Hom), where he happened to study with Dr Robin Murphy and had also completed extensive post graduate Homoeopathic education & training. He learned the most here by spending years studying the old Masters in thousands of old journals. Dr Luc began incorporating classical homoeopathy into his holistic practice upon moving to the U.S in 1981. Since 1991 he began exclusively using homoeopathy. His Renaissance Institute of Classical Homoeopathy provided professional training in Boston, MA, Secaucus, NJ and Las Vegas. NV to health care professionals.

He always cited clinical examples to reveal the remedy story.
His conversion to homoeopathy happened in 1992 where he was diagnosed with retinal bleeding, he was advised cortisone by the ophthalmologist however, Dr Luc refused his treatment and stayed firm to follow the true laws of healing of homoeopathy and to everyone’s amazement homoeopathy brought him out of the most difficult situation of his life by curing his emerging blindness. He always acknowledged the understanding and great support offered by his wife Yolanda to find solutions. He took pride in calling himself a sportsman: football, tennis, swimming, yoga & ballroom dancing.
His books were always in demand and his research papers were award winning. His earliest book; Human Condition Critical won second prize amongst 3,800 papers at the first world congress in 1994. He was always a part of homoeopathic team in the relief efforts in Sri lanka through “Homoeopaths without borders” and had lectured extensively in China on integrating TCM with homoeopathy. He has written extensively on subject of Organon of medicine, Repertory, homoeopathic philosophy and Materia Medica. His major concern had been children suffering from Autistic Syndrome Disorder and managing them with right homoeopathy. He desired that all homoeopaths courageously investigate their own work & improvise further. He looked up to India as so many have accepted homoeopathy and wished for more government grants in order to make it accessible to the poor. He was very friendly, research minded person that happily addressed all the queries of his patients and students who pushed him to investigate new clinical problems.
In 2006 Dr Luc visited several places (Gujarat, Goa, Jamshedpur, Kolkata, Chennai) in India in order to give informative seminars. Dr Luc retired from active practice in June 2009 after personally training his pupil Farah Gron, who became his successor. Once again, he returned to Goa, India for the last time as an International Key note speaker for International Conference in 2014. He was a true humanitarian, some of his books were donated free of cost to African and Asian continents to support the cause of propagating the truth of art of homoeopathy to the underprivileged. He stood rock solid against new ideas build by modern homoeopaths and reminded everyone that never forget Hahnemanian teachings which form the root of our science. Dr Luc passed away on 31st January 2025 at the age of 78 years due to health issues. It is a terrible shock for the profession, for his family & friends, his innumerable patients and especially his many pupils to whom he had given so abundantly without concern for himself.
