Christophe Merville, DPharm(France)
Christophe Merville joined Boiron, the world’s leading manufacturer of homeopathic medicines, in 1990. Since 2005, Dr. Merville has served as the Director of Pharmacy Development and Education. In this role, Dr. Merville has created educational training programs for pharmacists and retailers on homeopathy and Boiron’s medicines.
Prior to Boiron, Dr. Merville was a university hospital pharmacist in France’s Loire Valley where he obtained three years of clinical experience. Born in France, Dr. Merville had completed his pharmacy doctorate in Nantes in 1985, and a post-doctorate diploma in Hospital Pharmacy in Pharmacy in 1989 in Poitiers (France).
Dr. Merville designs live and web-based interactive training for health care professionals: pharmacists, physicians, nurses as well as for retailers and the public. These training session incorporate adult learning techniques and games to keep the audience engaged and maximize retention of knowledge and acquisition of practical skills. Dr. Merville is the author of the Boiron Medicine Finder App, which has been downloaded more than 325,000 times. He also the author of a complete educational program on homeopathic medicines for pharmacy students, used in many pharmacy colleges in the USA.
