The selection for undergraduate courses operated in state government and private AYUSH (Ayurveda, Greek and Homeopath) colleges will now be done through the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG-2018. So far enrollment through NEET has been done in MBBS and BDS courses only. For the first time in AYUSH, admission in the undergraduate level course will now be through this. Central AYUSH Ministry has directed the state government to implement this. So far, enrollment in the AYUSH colleges of the State has been done through Joint Entrance Examination organized by Jharkhand Joint Entrance Competition Examination Board (JCECEB).
