BHUBANESWAR: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday approved the appointment of 169 homeopathy and 50 Ayush doctors in various hospitals across the state.
On the basis of the recommendation of Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC), the doctors would be appointed as homeopathic medical officers and ayurvedic medical officers, said an official statement.
The OPSC had earlier initiated the process of recruitment of 263 homeopathic and 179 ayurvedic doctors.
