Admission To BAMS & BHMS Courses For The Session 2019-20

North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda and Homoeopathy (NELAH) is an Autonomous Institute, under the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt of India located at Mawdiangdiang, Shillong. Meghalaya. The Institute is functioning with College of Ayurveda & College of Homoeopathy, offering UG courses in BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine Surgery) and BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery), and having 50 students intake capacity each w.e.f. academic session 2016-17. Both the courses are affiliated to the North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), a central university, Shillong. Classes for the three batches of both BAMS & BHMS for 2016-17, 2017-18 & 2018-19 are running full-fledged.
. The Institute is going to admit 50 candidates each for BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery) and BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery) courses for the academic session 2019-2020 scheduled to commence from September 2019.
For All India Quota seats i.e. for 24 seats in each course, separate online centralized counselling will be done by Ministry of AYUSH (www.aaccc.gov.in) and 01 seats of Foreign National in each course will be nominated by ICCR.
For NE States Quota Seats i.e. 25 seats in each course, candidates who have qualified in NEET 2019, conducted on All India basis by NTA and are desirous of taking admission in NEIAH under North East States Quota (except Assam) for the above-mentioned courses may download the prescribed application format, Information brochure including instructions regarding eligibility, distribution of seats, reservation, criteria for selection dates of counseling & admission etc from the institute website www.netah.nic.in and duly filled up prescribed application form along with necessary enclosures to be sent by speed post/by hand to the Office of Director, NEIAH, Shillong on or before 14.08.2019.
