The Directorate of AYUSH, Odisha, has announced a walk-in-interview for the contractual engagement of Professors, Readers, and Lecturers in Government Homoeopathic Medical Colleges of the State.
Walk-in-Interview Details
- Date and Time: July 10, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
- Location: Conference Hall of the Directorate of AYUSH, Odisha, Bhubaneswar.
- Process: Candidates must bring a duly filled application form, original certificates, mark sheets, testimonials, and a set of self-attested photocopies.
Available Positions and Remuneration
- Professor: 19 vacancies; Rs. 1,00,000 per month.
- Reader: 45 vacancies; Rs. 80,000 per month.
- Lecturer: 16 vacancies; Rs. 70,000 per month.
Eligibility and Terms
- Age Limit: Candidates must not be older than 64 years as of the application date.
- Requirements: Candidates must possess a recognized postgraduate qualification in Homoeopathy. Specific teaching experience is required for Reader and Professor positions. Retired Homoeopathic Medical Officers are eligible to apply for certain roles.
- Contractual Terms: Engagement is purely contractual, valid until the end of February of the financial year or until the post is filled through D.P.C., whichever is earlier. Performance-based extensions may be possible.
- Employment Rights: No claim for permanent or temporary government employment is permitted.
