UPSC Announces Recruitment Test for Homoeopathic Physician Posts in NDMC – Exam on June 6, 2026  

The Commission has decided to conduct an Offline Pen and Paper Based RECRUITMENT TEST for short-listing the candidates for the above mentioned posts on 06.06.2026 (Forenoon Session from 09.30 A.M. to 11.30 A.M.). Only those candidates shortlisted in the RT and who fulfill all the eligibility conditions of the post shall be called for interview.

RESERVATION POSITION: (UR-01, OBC-02, ST-01). 

Suitability of the post for PwBD: The vacancies are suitable for candidates belonging to category of Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) viz. Locomotor Disability including Cerebral Palsy, Leprosy Cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack Victims, Muscular Dystrophy, Spinal Deformity and Spinal Injury without any associated neurological/limb dysfunction with disability i.e. Both legs affected but not arms (BL) or One leg affected (R or L) (OL) or One arm affected (R or L) (OA) or Leprosy Cured (LC) or Dwarfism (DW) or Acid Attack Victims (AAV), Autism, Intellectual Disability, Specific Learning Disability and Mental Illness with disability i.e. Specific Learning Disability (SLD), Multiple Disabilities (MD) i.e. at least two disabilities from the categories of the disabilities indicated above.

PAY SCALE: Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC plus NPA. AGE: 35 years for UR, 38 years for OBCs and 40 years for STs. 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATIONAL: (i) Degree in Homoeopathy of a recognized University/Statutory State Board/Council or equivalent recognized under the Homoeopathic Central Council Act, 1973 (59 of 1973). (ii) Enrolment on the Central register of Homoeopathy or a state register of Homoeopathy. 

 

NOTE: The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified. 

 

DUTIES: (i) To diagnose and treat patients in O.P.D./I.P.D. (ii) Administration of Homeopathy Unit of which he/she is put in-charge. (iii) To attend health Camps/Melas organized by NDMC/Govt. of NCT of Delhi/Govt. of India. (iv) To perform any other duties assigned by the Director (AYUSH) from time to time. 

OTHER DETAILS: The post is permanent. AYUSH Cadre of NDMC, Group-A.

HEADQUARTERS: New Delhi Municipal Council ANY OTHER CONDITIONS: Private Practice of any kind whatsoever is prohibited, for which non-practicing allowance (NPA) is allowed.
