Ayush to conduct Free Health Checkups in Indore under AYUSH Gram Yojana

Indore: On the lines of the Health Department, the AYUSH Department will also hold camps for the treatment of people. These camps will be organized in four villages. For this, the central government has set aside budget.
Under the same roof, Ayush will be treated with all the five methods.
The AYUSH Ministry of the Central Government has identified several villages in the country under AYUSH Gram Yojana, which includes four villages of the district, Rangavas, Machal, Badgonda and Gawli Palasia.
There will be special health camps in these villages. Under this, patients will be tested, treated with health tests only. According to Divisional Ayush Officer Dr. Jagdish Pancholia, in the scheme, four villages of Indore district besides two villages of Burhanpur are included in the scheme.
Every village will get four lakhs
The Government has appointed the Principal of the Government Ashtanga Ayurvedic College as the Nodal Officer for the camping in the villages. Many teams of doctors have been working for this. 3 lakh 93 thousand rupees will be spent in every village.
More facilities with treatment
Apart from treatment in the camps, the health survey of the villages will also be done so that the plans can be decided in the future. The villagers will be given cards of schemes. There will also be yoga and awareness camps and the villagers will be encouraged to give medicines and cultivate herbs.
There are five methods under Ayush, which include Ayurveda, Yoga, Homeopathy, Greek and Siddha Methods. Patients in the camp will be treated with these methods. On the spot tests and medicines will be provided free of cost.
With this, people will be taught tricks to stay healthy.
The Indian government has started the Ayush Gram Yojana, which covers four villages in the district. Awareness campaign will also be started with the setting up of health camps for the treatment of villagers under the scheme.
