We are looking for an Editor to join our editorial team to work on Homeopathy books. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain a thorough introduction to publishing in a varied and demanding role that works across a range of subjects and will provide experience of research markets.Our ideal candidate is a team-spirited, skilled and imaginative writer with an eye for detail along with good English language editorial skills and thorough knowledge of Homeopathic subjects.
Developing content that meets the highest quality, time, and cost standards
Working with contributors and Editorial and Production colleagues to deliver high-quality publications, in a timely fashion
Establishing strong and clear communication within the Homeopathy team, and with other Homeopaths colleagues around the world
Negotiating with authors and contributors
Assessing, planning, and preparing print manuscripts/contributions for publication
Taking a proactive role in driving a project forward at all times
Qualifications
· Homeopath with BHMS or MD degree.
· Self-motivated and able to use initiative when necessary
· Good English language editorial skills
· Thorough knowledge of Homeopathic subjects.
· Highly organised, with strong prioritisation and time management skills
· Team player with a flexible approach
· Quick to adapt and learn
· Must have high computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, familiar with online technologies.
