This unique Lead Practitioner position grants you with the opportunity to be an integrative ambassador in our store. This role allows you to connect with your community and to build up your own private practice. Our LP’s strive to share and provide training to coworkers, thereby moving us towards the “one medicine” model and increasing/driving sales. You’ll be on the retail floor, engaging with customers, sharing your knowledge and allocating health and wellness solutions.
You’ll learn how to merchandise, stock, order and handle other retail responsibilities in addition to being on the sales floor. You’ll also attend a weekly call to engage with our Lead Practitioners in other stores.
Requirements:
-Completed certification in area of expertise (i.e. herbal medicine, homeopathy, naturopathic medicine, nutrition, traditional Chinese medicine, etc.) or equivalent hands-on experience. Submission of certificate or other credentials will be required
-Solid understanding of nutritional supplement and botanical medicine uses, dosage and contraindications, preparations and standards of measurement
-Confidence in speaking with customers and assisting them with their needs while staying within DSHEA guidelines
-Ability to operate a point of sale system
-Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for some evenings and weekends
