- QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- MCI recognised MBBS with PG degree and Super Speciality (from Sl.no.1 to 3 above).
- MCI recognised MBBS with PG degree / Diploma in concerned Speciality (from Sl.no.4 to 12 above).
- MDS degree holder. (Sl.No.15)
- Concerned UG degree (from Sl.no.13, 14 and 16 above).
The above mentioned qualification should be recognized by MCI (Medical Council of India) / State Medical Council / DCI (Dental Council of India) / The Respective Councils.
- PERIOD OF ENGAGEMENT
The initial Engagement will be for a period of 6 months. Further, extension of Engagement, as per Institute’s policy, may be considered based on performance of the Visiting Consultant and also, upon requirement.
- REMUNERATION
The remuneration payable to the Visiting Consultant would be fixed, according to their specialization shown in the above tabulation. i.e., Super Specialist (from Sl.no.1 to 3 above) – Rs.3500 per visit (Timings: 2 hours), Specialist (from Sl.no.4 to 12 above) – Rs.2500 per visit (Timings: 2 hours), Dentist (MDS) – Rs.2000 per visit (Timings: 4 hours), Ayurveda / Homeopathy – Rs.1500 per visit (Timings: 2 hours). Physiotherapist – Rs.1000 per visit (Timings: 4 hours)., In addition, the Visiting Consultant is eligible for the Conveyance Charges of Rs.500 per visit.
- HOW TO APPLY
Prescribed application form and other details may be downloaded from Institute’s website i.e., http://www.nitt.edu and the application duly filled in the prescribed form along with a set of self-attested copies of documents in support of date of birth / age / educational / professional qualification, post-qualification experience etc., should reach the office of The Registrar, National Institute of Technology, Tanjore road, Tiruchirappalli –15. Tamil Nadu PIN: 620015 on or before 23.04.2018 (5.00 PM). The envelope should be superscribed as “Application for the post of Visiting Consultant”. The Institute shall not be responsible for postal delays, if any.
