Mangaluru: The Department of Repertory, Father Mueller Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital (FMHMCH), Deralakatte, organized a national seminar on July 21 in the college auditorium. Students of different homoeopathic medical colleges and different physicians from all over India participated.
Dr Principal of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College, Deralakatte, Shiv Prasad welcomed the meeting and Roshan Crusta, the administrator of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital delivered his message. Father Richard Alloysius Kolho, Director of Father Muller Charitable Institutions presided over the function.
Dr Rita Chakraborty, the program’s organizing secretary, Professor and HOD, Department of Repertory gave thanks.
The resource person for the scientific session was Dr Shashikant Tiwari. He was introduced by Dr Rakhal P, assistant professor, department of Repertory.
The first session was, demands demand case report, where Dr Tiwari told that repertory plays an important role in how to select the symmetry. Dr Tiwari concluded the first session and said that the matter is the same which decides the necessary repertory. In the second session, he highlighted the use of Synoptic Key by Bogner. He termed Synoptic Key as a complete guidebook for students, teachers and prescribers. Both sessions were highly resource-rich.
After the second session was an open platform. Dr Srinath Rao, former Principal and HOD, Materia Medica, were mediators for this session.
Open Forum Participants, Dr Bipin T. Verghese, Consultant Homeopath, SV Homeopathic Clinic, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, Uterine Polyps, Dr C. Rajlakshmi, Associate Professor, Department of Repertory, Vinayak Mission, Homeopathic Medical College, presented a paper in Salem. A pressure ulcer, Dr Pamela Kundu, MD Final Year, Department of Repertory, Father Mueller presented a paper in Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Melsa, Dr MR Mubul, MD, Department of Practice of Medicine, presented a paper on Father Muller’s Homeopathic. Medical college and hospital presented a paper on diabetic foot ulcers and Dr Rita Chakraborty, Professor and Rector of HOD Department, FMHMC presented a paper on rheumatoid arthritis.
All participants of the open forum were later awarded.
Around 380 delegates attended the National Seminar.
