Lucknow: In 106 years old history, for the first time the State National Homeopathy College will offer three courses in post-graduation with 10 seats each. The proposal has been sent to the government for its approval. There will also be a 24*7 emergency wing where apart from homeopathy practitioners; allopathy doctors will also treat the patients. This block will be operational in six months and will provide ultrasound and X-ray services. AYUSH secretary Mukesh Meshram said, “For the first time, the college will start MD in Materia Medica, Repertory and Organon of Medicine with 10 seats in each course. The college that runs an OPD- led hospital until now had no emergency wing till now. But, it will soon have its own emergency wing with both allopathy and homeopathy doctors. General surgery, gynecology, heart related issues and ear, nose and throat services will be available at the emergency wing.” The college has also started a dental OPD, yoga and physiotherapy facilities for the first time.
