JAMMU, Sept 21: In connection with World Alzheimer’s Day, Homoeopathic Medical Association of India (HMAI), J&K branch in collaboration with Board of Homoeopathic Systemic of Medicines (BHSM) organized an awareness programme on Alzheimer disease in the office of BHSM.
The programme was aimed at sensitizing the people of J&K regarding the Alzheimer ailment, which is most prevalent throughout the universe. During the programme, among other things, the reason, management, conservative treatment and therapeutic action through Homoeopathic Health Care System was discussed.
On the occasion, Dr BR Dubb, Registrar, J&K BHSM, was the chief guest while Dr Rajan Tuli, Dr Shakti Dar Sharma, Dr Vijayinder Singh Jamwal, Dr Satish Atri and DR Aishwarya Wazir were special guests.
MC Verma, the special invitee on the occasion, spoke in detail on Alzheimer disease and its treatment through Homoeopathy therapeutic along with its preventive management keeping in view the cause of disease and its affect.
He said that in Homoeopathy profession through clinical identification of such a disease in early stage and it can be managed through Homoeopathic System of Medicines as an each individual has to be treated as a whole person with special reference and care to the disease.
Listing some preventive steps of the disease, the participants said that the persons suffering from the disease should socially connected positively and undertake some exercise also, eat healthy diet including berries, plenty of fruits, vegetables, poultry, fish and vegetable oil and participate in art-and craft activities.
During the programme, members of Homoeopathic Doctors’ Association moved a unanimous resolution that the Homoeopathic System of Medicines should be encouraged in J&K public domain by the Government of J&K.
