Dr Phatak was born in Maharashtra on September 6th, 1896. He was an allopath but was persuaded to learn about Homoeopathy while going through Sir William Osler’s writings on the History of Medicine. In 1932, as a result of these studies, he began to practice Homeopathy exclusively. He was a dedicated follower of Dr. Boger. His Repertory is based on Boger’s A Synoptic key to Materia Medica.
