Seven vacancies for the post of General Duty Medical Officer(Homeopathy), Directorate of AYUSH, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of NCT of Delhi. (SC-01,EWS-02,UR-04)(PH-01*). *Of the seven vacancies one vacancy is reserved for Physically Challenged person i.e. Locomotor disability with One leg affected (R or L)(OL) or One arm affected (R or L)(OA) or Cerebral Palsy(CP) or Leprosy Cured(LC) or Dwarfism(DW) or Acid Attack Victims (AAV) or Muscular Dystrophy(MDy). The posts are also suitable for Physically Challenged person i.e. Locomotor disability with One leg affected (R or L) (OL) or One arm affected (R or L) (OA) or Cerebral Palsy (CP) or Leprosy Cured (LC) or Dwarfism (DW) or Acid Attack Victims (AAV) or Muscular Dystrophy (MDy). The posts are permanent. Pay Scale: Level-10 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC plus NPA, Delhi Health Services of General Duty Medical Officer (Homoeopathy) Group ‘A’. Age: 35 years. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATIONAL: (i) Degree in Homoeopathy of a recognized University or Statutory State Board/ Council of equivalent recognized under the Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973 (59 of 1973). (ii) Enrolment on State Register or Central Register of Homoeopathy. NOTE:-I: The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates in India. NOTE:-II: The qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. NOTE:-III: The qualification regarding experience is relaxable at discretion of the Commission, for reason to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates belonging to
Scheduled Castes, if at any stage of selection, the Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them.

DUTIES:

(i) The General Duty Medical Officer will provide comprehensive homoeopathic medical care, preventive and curative to the patients.

(ii) After examination of a patient, the General Duty Medical Officer will record symptoms and findings in brief, investigation done, diagnosis and the treatment prescribed on the OPD ticket.

(iii)The Officer will carry out such other duties as may be assigned by the Directorate from time to time. HQ: NCT of Delhi.

ANY OTHER CONDITIONS: Private Practice of any kind whatsoever is prohibited.
