Pride honour for Oman based doctor

Dr Deepak Sharma, an outstanding homoeopathic doctor centred in Oman, has been stared with ‘Pride of Middle East’ — Healthcare Excellence award for his involvement in introducing and popularising alternative medicine (homoeopathy) in the Middle East, particularly Oman, where from past 23 years he is offering his outstanding services.
 
The award was deliberated on him by Her Royal Excellency, Princess Dr Mom Luang Rajadarasri Jayankura of Thailand and Dr Udit Raj, Member of Parliament, Government of India, in a ceremonial conducted in Bangkok and organised by Global Achievers Alliance, an Indo-Thai nonprofit company which recognises people from around the world, who have made a difference in their fields and subsidized to the society as a whole. Many dignitaries from Thailand and India attended the ceremony.
The award was a pleasant surprise and a great incentive to serve the society, Deepak said.
 
He acknowledged His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said for officially permitting the practice of homoeopathy in Oman 23 years back and offering him a chance to support the people of this country with this general way of treatment, where a person is cured without any side effects.
