National Level CME Programme On Scope Of Homoeopathy In Lifestyle Disorders By CRU (H) Dimapur

Clinical Research Unit for Homoeopathy, Dimapur under Central council for research in Homoeopathy, Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India organized a two days National Continuing Medical Education (CME) Programme  on “Scope of Homoeopathy in the Life style disorders” on 21st & 22nd February 2020.The programme was held at conference hall of Nagaland Tourism, Tourist lodge, Dimapur, Nagaland.

The Programme was inaugurated by Guest of honour Dr K. Vikhato Kinimi , Joint Director, Directorate of Health & Family Welfare, Kohima . Dr K Vikhato Kinimi  stated that the two days event aims to enlighten the masses on scope of Homoeopathy in the Life style disorders and  also added about importance of CME in Dimapur. Chief guest CMO, Dimapur District hospital & Deputy CMO of District Hospital Dimapur also present in the CME Programme. After felicitation of the guest, short speech was given by all the guest. The inaugural session was followed by the scientific sessions.
Eminent resource persons like Dr Niriethono Zetsuvi , Senior Medical Officer, District Hospital Dimapur, Dr Raj Pal , scientist-4, CCRH, Dr. Abhijeet Chattopadhyay, Prof. NIH, Kolkata, Dr Himangsu Hait, Prof & HOD, Practice of Medicine, CHMC&H, Kolkata, Dr Austin Jose, RMO, NIH, Kolkata,  Dr Nokchur Imchen,CIHSR, Dimapur, Dr T Bendangtula, Asst Director AYUSH, Directorate of H &FW, Kohima , Dr C Tetseo, Nodal officer NTCP, Directorate of H & F W, Kohima including the officer in charge  Dr Prabin Kumar Shaw R.O(H)/S-1 , CRU(H), Dimapur deliver their presentation on various topics related to Life style disorders in the scientific sessions . Public Health issues related to Life style disorders like  Hypertension, Diabetes mellitus, Smokeless Tobacco addiction relevant to Dimapur as well as Nagaland were discussed in detail & the possibilities of their probable solution through Homoeopathy were discussed by  the various Resource persons. Over view of activities & achievements of  CCRH, New Delhi were also discussed in elaborately by Dr Raj Pal , scientist-4,nCCRH, New Delhi. . After the speech, interaction session was taken up between the Participants and the speakers.

Many Govt. Homoeopathic physicians from NHM, RBSK, including integrated AYUSH Hospital and private practitioners from different parts of Nagaland participated as delegate. The doctors shared their views on how much the CME helped them by the information they received from the different resource persons about the lifestyle disorders and the recent activities going on in the field of Homoeopathic research in India as well as abroad.
Further Dr T Bendangtula , Asst. Director AYUSH, Directorate of H&FW, Kohima appealed the trainees to gather all the valuable knowledge from the CME Programme. Certificates were distributed in the valedictory session followed by vote of thanks by  Dr Prabin Kr. Shaw Officer in-charge CRU(H), Dimapur. The programme was a great success. The delegates requested for conducting more CME on regular basis .
