Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University came to the rescue of homoeopathic area. It has been observed that, after completing the BHMS course, most homoeopathic students opt to continue their higher studies in the same field after fear of diminishing scope of getting a job. In order to make BHMS students come to the Homeopathic area and to create new employment opportunities by accelerating the skills of the students, Medical Science University will soon get 20 Specialty Fellowship Certificate Course in the Pilot Project in Government Homeopathy College, Bhopal. will start. Each course will have a duration of 6 months.
Students completing a BHMS degree from various government and private homoeopathic colleges will be eligible for admission in these courses. Sharing the details of new courses, Vice-Chancellor of MP Medical Science University Dr RS Sharma told Avde Hitawada that the Executive Committee of the University has already taken the necessary decisions to start these courses.
However, before starting the course, the university administration will conduct an inspection to meet all the necessary guidelines. “At present, more than 75 per cent of students do not show interest in choosing PG courses after finishing the BHMS course from different colleges. This eventually resulted in a decline in the strength of students in clinical courses compared to non-clinical subjects, “said VC Dr Sharma.
