Dr Suresh Kumar Agarwal of Kolkata receives Hakim Ajmal Khan Global Award in Yoga by Hon’ble Vice-President of India.
Kolkata: Dr Suresh Kumar Aggarwal, the world’s leading homoeopathic physician from Kolkata, was honoured with the Hakim Ajmal Khan Global Award in the field of Yoga by the hands of Hon’ble Janab M. Hamid Ansari sb, Former Vice-President of India on 13th February 2019 at Speaker Hall, Constitution Club, New Delhi. This Hakim was the 30th celebration of the Ajmal Khan Global Awards presentation. Awards were given to the owner whose services are of great value for the Indian medical system. Dr Suresh Kumar Agarwal was the receiver of this Celeb Award for Best Naturopathic and Yoga Therapist at the 30th function of the award presentation.
Hakim Ajmal Khan was a physician in Delhi, India and was one of the founders of Jamia Millia Islamia University. He established another institution, Ayurvedic and Greek Tibbia College, which is known as Tibbia College located in Karol Bagh of Delhi. He became the first Chancellor of the University in 1920 and remained in office till his death in 1927. Khan proved to be the most outstanding and versatile personality of his era, with unparalleled contributions to the cause of Indian independence, national integration and communal harmony.
