Kolkata: Dr Suresh Kumar Aggarwal, the world’s leading homoeopathic physician from Kolkata, was honoured with the Hakim Ajmal Khan Global Award in the field of Yoga by the hands of Hon’ble Janab M. Hamid Ansari sb, Former Vice-President of India on 13th February 2019 at Speaker Hall, Constitution Club, New Delhi. Several celebrated dignitaries were present at the ceremony, such as Padmashri Janab Akhtarul Wasey sb, President Maulana Azad University, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, Padmashri Dr. Mohsin Wali sb, Former Physician to the President of India, Prof. Asim Ali Khan, DG- CCRUM, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India, Dr. S. Farooq, Working Partner – The Himalaya Healthcare, etc.

Dr Suresh Kumar Agrawal has been providing services in the field of Natural, Supplemental, Traditional and Ayush system like Yoga, Natural, Homeopathy, Homeopathy, Reiki, Meditation etc for the last 35 years and is making trips worldwide for promotion. And propagate these humanist therapies. He is the President of World Yoga Foundation and Vice Chancellor of Pragyan International University, Ranchi in the Jharkhand State of India.

This Hakim was the 30th celebration of the Ajmal Khan Global Awards presentation. Awards were given to the owner whose services are of great value for the Indian medical system. Under the AYUSH system of Heritophore, a huge number of dignitaries have received this award in different areas of health and healing. Dr Suresh Kumar Agarwal was the receiver of this Celeb Award for Best Naturopathic and Yoga Therapist at the 30th function of the award presentation.

Hakim Ajmal Khan was a physician in Delhi, India and was one of the founders of Jamia Millia Islamia University. He established another institution, Ayurvedic and Greek Tibbia College, which is known as Tibbia College located in Karol Bagh of Delhi. He became the first Chancellor of the University in 1920 and remained in office till his death in 1927. Khan proved to be the most outstanding and versatile personality of his era, with unparalleled contributions to the cause of Indian independence, national integration and communal harmony.
