Hyderabad: Telangana state government Tuesday cancelled the affiliation and recognition of Al Arif Gyani Medical College in Bandalaguda, Hyderabad.
Orders were issued by the state by the Kalogy Narayan Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), and this decision was taken as per the orders of the Ministry of AYUSH of the Government of India. It is said that there is no necessary faculty or infrastructure in the college.
“The compulsory certificate (no-objection certificate) issued to Al Arif Greek Medical College was cancelled on the orders of the state government. We have already used the order to cancel their affiliation, “B. Karunakara Reddy, Vice Chancellor of VC and said that these students will be told that these students will be transferred to the Government Nizamia Tibbi College, Hyderabad.
He said that organizing counselling to transfer college students to Prof. Ram Reddy Center for Distance Learning (PGRRCDE), will be held on July 13 in Osmania University campus.
“Students who joined the college during the academic year 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18 should join the first and final counselling with the necessary documents. Candidates are further informed that they will have to pay tuition fees and college fee as per the category, under which they were given admission in Category A, BC respectively.
