Efforts To Recognize Ayurvedic Terms On International Platform

Kolkata: Senior officials of the AYUSH Ministry (Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy) will hold a meeting with the World Health Organization officials from 10 to 11 June, in which Ayurvedic terminology will be developed, which has been coded by experts so far.

 

The main purpose of the meeting is to find a way to identify different Ayurvedic words on the international stage. The Ministry of AYUSH has developed National Ayush Policy and standardized vocabulary electronic portal (Namaste-portal), where various ayurvedic words have got a place in English with synonyms. And Hindi languages Many old manuscripts, which were originally in the Sanskrit language, have already been digitally digitized to attract the attention of international audiences.

 

Ayurveda is one of the oldest forms of treatment in the country, which is catching up after giving an incentive to increase the infrastructure for both the central and the Bengal government to increase its reach.

 

The World Health Organization had tied up with the AYUSH Ministry to create a detailed plan that how traditional methods of treatment can be adopted abroad. The Ministry has also signed a Project Cooperation Agreement with the World Health Organization for cooperation in promoting the quality, safety and effectiveness of the provision in conventional and complementary therapies.

 

Invited member of the upcoming program Dr According to Asit Panja, the AYUSH system of medicine has an important role in reaching the health service to the masses. It is cost-effective and will benefit economically disabled patients. Therefore, it is important to promote traditional methods of treatment not only in the country but also abroad. National Institute of Ayurveda Professor Dr Panja is a part of the team that prepared the Ayurvedic Morbidity Code.

 

The World Health Organization is developing terminology in Ayurveda, Greek and Siddha, so that the words originally in Sanskrit can be understood by the people in foreign countries and the traditional form of India can be applied in other countries.
