Chennai: The State Government has decided to enter the Indian systems of medicine and homoeopathy in association with Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy, considering the marks obtained by the candidates in Neet-2019 from the current academic year onward.
Talking to reporters in Chennai on Friday, Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Dr C. Vijaya Basakar said that the marks made by the candidates of Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy courses for admission will be considered. So far, candidates are being admitted in medical and dental courses on the basis of marks obtained by candidates.
After this, the courses offered under Indian Medicine and Homeopathy will be covered under the curriculum.
