Delhi: A two-day International Convention begins today in the National Capital, to assess the challenges faced by homeopathy and to prepare “future strategy for development” of this stream of alternative medicine.
In order to inspect the World Homoeopathic Day, an autonomous research organization under the Ministry of AYUSH is being organized by the Council of Council Research (CCRH).
For the purpose of recognizing exemplary work in homeopathy, AYUSH awards relating to this stream of alternative medicine for lifetime achievement, best teacher, the young scientist and best research paper will be conferred at the event, an official release stated on Monday.
Scholarships will be provided to twenty-four students under Short Term Studentship in Homeopathy (STSH). Four students will be honoured for ‘quality MD dissertation in homeopathy’, it has been said, an MOU will be signed with two more postgraduate homeopathic colleges in an effort to add education to education.
It has been said in the release that the approach behind the agreement will have to accelerate the research infrastructure, which will further orient the students towards research.
He said, “There is a need to focus on improving the quality of education and increasing the success rate of an average practitioner, there is a need to ensure the production and availability of high-quality homeopathic drugs in the market.”
The research will be discussed in a wide range of topics including research and clinical practice, the use of current research by physicians, drug development and verification, research initiatives, document clinical experience and further road for homeopathy.
