SUMMARY

 

Background: Embryonal carcinoma with immature teratoma is cancer with a poor prognosis if the expression levels of biological markers are very high. In such a case, after surgical removal of the tumour, homeopathic treatment resulted in maintenance of the cancer-free state for over 6 years.

 

Case Report: This is the case of a 3-year-old Indian girl diagnosed with embryonal carcinoma with immature teratoma (after surgery), treated and followed up for over 6 years. She was treated on the basis of the principles of classical homeopathy and has stayed free of cancer for 6 years now.
