Homeopathic Children’s Drugs Recalled due to Possible Contamination

Homeopathic drugs to treat children’s cough, fever, teething pain and more have been recalled due to the possibility of microbial contamination.
King Bio is voluntarily recalling the products “out of an abundance of caution,” the company said in a notice released by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The company has not received reports of illness but acknowledged infections potentially could be life-threatening for some.
The products in the recall were distributed between August 2017 and July 2018 and are listed at http://bit.ly/2wmzQh2. Customers should stop using the recalled products and contact King Bio at [email protected] to return them.
Adverse events can be reported to the FDA’s MedWatch Adverse Event Reporting program at www.fda.gov/medwatch/report.htm.
