Madhya Pradesh Finance Minister Jayant Malaiya met junior homoeopathy doctors on Saturday. Ayush junior doctors handed over a memorandum to the Finance Minister. Homoeopathy junior doctors threatened indefinite hunger strike from Sunday.
Meeting Ayush junior doctors, Minister Jayant Malaiya said that he did not know about the strike of homoeopathy junior doctors. He said he has not received any official information about the strike and demands of homeopathy junior doctors. He also assured homoeopathy junior doctors that he will ask his sub ordinates about the official information and will surely take fair action in this regards.
Homoeopathy junior doctor also distributed newspapers as hawkers and did labour. They picked crushed stones from one place to another. Junior doctors also threatened to intensify their strike with indefinite hunger strike from Sunday. They said their hunger strike would be called off only when Government will accept their genuine demands.
Speaking to ‘The Hitavada’ Devendra Vyas, homoeopathy junior doctor, said that representatives of homoeopathy junior doctors Dr Dhanraj Bawan and Dr Manoj Sahu handed memorandum to Finance Minister. He said that Finance Minister assured junior homoeopathy doctors that he will learn about the case and will surely do his best.
Devendra said “Jayant Malaiya had no clue about their demands. Though, Shikha Dubey, Principal Secretary of Ayush Department, assured Ayush junior doctors that she has shared the details of their demands with Ministry of Finance. She asked Ayush junior doctors to call off their strike and assured that Government will take favourable decision. But the fact is she tried to befool homoeopathy junior doctors”.
Meanwhile, Ayurveda junior doctors staging gradual (Kramik) hunger strike threatened to intensify their strike. They warned to go on indefinite hunger strike from Sunday.
