Rubrics of spring season from all the major repertories. And I wish you all study them deeply. So that when patient comes to you in this season with complaint of dysentery so you better be prepared that you have to consider Kali.bi.
Now we all are familiar with spring coryza of Allium cepa, and autumnal dysentery of Colchicum. we must think why season used as a symptom by our stalwarts, !!!! Because in both clinical and drug proving they found affinity of certain drugs towards particular seasons with associated complaint.
For eg vertigo in spring season Apis is only medicine. In this season you will have complaints of both acute and chronic like vertigo, asthma, cough, skin eruptions, coryza, dysentery, fever, toothache, facial neuralgia, diarrhea, hoarseness of voice, weakness, stomach ulcers, rheumatism and many more.
I give a case example, a chronic patient of asthma I have tried everything but failed Ars, Nat.s, Tub, Sambucus but last year he presented with dysentery in spring season and what happened was after Kali bi dysentery was gone and also the asthma.
Some times acute phase demands the medicine of inner vitality which will lead to cure.
Some times it’s a simple acute like diarrhea,,,,
Sometimes its and exacerbation or nature of chronic disease to aggravate in a particular season.
Whatever the condition you should not miss these points:
So when repertorising a case you need your eyes opened to see whether any season is involved or not. Sometimes patient says I have asthma only in month of march, so now you have to interpret rubric asthma in spring season.
I am not saying give straight away medicine according to season, you also have to match the symptoms similarity also. but I want you to consider these medicines during repertorisation so that you don’t miss any remedy. believe me try these symptoms you will be benefited in your practice.
I give you another example, a case of idiopathic dropsy, where the peculiarity was she was having continuous vertigo after winter season and before summer. Now this is the language of patient. The case was cured by apis. – spells of vertigo during spring season.
This concept of seasons was taught to me by my guru Dr .L.C.SHARMA SIR.
