A DOCTOR who won a Nobel Prize for discovering the AIDS virus supports homeopathic medicine.
Dr Luc Montagnier, who is a virologist and founder of the World Foundation for AIDS Research and Prevention, was quoted in Science magazine defending homeopathy.
Homeopathy is a system of medicine based on the principal of “like cures like” with practitioners prescribing diluted substances to stimulate the body to heal.
Dr Montagnier conducted his own experimental research into the sequential dilution of substances using vigorous shaking between each dilution as practiced in homeopathy.
The French Virologist said: “What I can say now is that the high dilutions (used in homeopathy) are right. High dilutions of something are not nothing. They are water structures which mimic the original molecules”.
More than 200 million people worldwide use homeopathy for both acute and chronic health conditions.
Clinical research conducted on homeopathic medicines and published in peer-reviewed journals show positive clinical results especially for treatment of conditions including: respiratory ailments, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, childhood diarrhoea, attention deficit disorder, eczema.
Dr Montagnier’s research verified that electromagnetic signals of the original substance remain in the water and has dramatic biological effects.
Further, new research by Montagnier was into electromagnetic waves in high dilutions of DNA found in various pathogens.
“What we found is that DNA produces structural changes in water, which persist at very high dilutions, and which lead to resonant electromagnetic signals that we can measure.”
Dr Montagnier discussed his interest in homeopathy at a prestigious meeting of fellow Nobelists and has noted that sourcing funding for research from Big Pharma and other conventional research funding agency is unlikely due to the atmosphere of antagonism to homeopathy and natural treatment options.
It is that antagonism that Your Health Your Choice is challenging as we fight to promote the future of natural medicine.
