NHS England is consulting on recommendations to remove herbal and homeopathic medicines from GP prescribing. The medicines cost very little and have no suitable alternatives for many patients. Therefore we call on NHS England to continue to allow doctors to prescribe homeopathy and herbal medicine.

We really need your help to boost the parliamentary petition concerning homeopathy and herbal medicines in the NHS. There are less than 2 weeks to go and we need a lot more votes, but surely we can reach the target if we all pull together.
This does not just concerns the practitioners who work in the NHS and their patients. It is part of the well constructed campaign against homeopathy. If homeopathy prescriptions are no longer available in the NHS, then this will be an unwelcome sound bite for the detractors.
It may be used to help fuel the misconception that homeopathy doesn’t and cannot work. Not to mention the effect it will have on the most disadvantaged in our society who couldn’t begin to think of paying for private care.
Please vote today if you have not done so already, and most importantly ask your friends, families and patients to do the same and to pass the message on.
