Topic: “ONCOLOGY AND HOMOEOPATHY”
On 24 Nov,2017: One day PG CME on “Oncology and Homoeopathy” was organized at Bakson Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Gr. Noida in association with Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre,Niti Bagh,South Delhi and CCRH,Govt.Of India. The event was organized in three sessions. It was inaugurated by Dr S. P. S. Bakshi, CMD, Bakson Group and addressed by Dr C.P.Sharma, Principal. PG Incharge Dr Kathika Chatopadhyay welcomed the esteemed guests.
In first session Dr Kundan, Oncosurgeon from RGCIRC,South Delhi delivered lecture on the topic “ Sign,symptoms,screening and diagnosis of precancerous & cancerous diseases”. He said, in India every 5th death is due to cancer. But, if it diagnosed properly in early stage then it is easy to control and cure.
In the second session, Dr Chetna D. Lamba,M.D(Hom),Scientist II,CCRH, New Delhi, delivered lecture on the topic “Research on cancer in Homoeopathy”. She presented guidelines in cancer research by CCRH and many systemic review on research of homoeopathy in different types of cancer.
In the third and final session Dr Sajjn Rajpurohit, M.D,D.N.B(Oncology Medicine) from RGCIRC, Niti Bagh,South Delhi delivered lecture on topic “Scope and Limitation of management and treatment in Cancer in Conventional System”. He told about modern advancement in the field of day care therapy in cancer as Radio/chemotherapy and immunotherapy including their side effects. In questioning interaction session, PG students of MD(Hom) course asked many questions to the experts. Thereafter experts interacted and answered the queries.
