Homeopathic Association Lauds Health Ministry

Pakistan Homeopathic Physicians Society Chairman Dr Javed Hussain Shah lauds federal government for appointing Administrator for National Homeopathy Council.
Homeo Dr Shah, who had been former president for the council also appreciated Federal Minister Saira Afzal Tarar and Secretary Naveed Baloch for taking bold steps by disbanding examination committee which, he said, was promoting incompetence and corruption in homeopathic profession.
Addressing a seminar held here on dental diseases by All Pakistan Homeopathic Alliance, Dr Shah urged the government for early legislation for the homeopathy mode of treatment as it has many success stories.
He also demanded increase in seats for teachers in Homeopathic Council and funds should be allocated for Research and Development (R&D) for homeopathy.
MPA Saifuddin Khalid who was chief guest, appreciated the homeopathic treatment and narrated his personal experiences about benefiting from homeopathy and assured his cooperation for introducing standardization in this homeopathic treatment and quality assurance in its examination system.—APP
