Stroud’s School of Homeopathy Invited to Meet HRH the Prince of Wales

THE SCHOOL of Homeopathy, based in Stroud, was invited to an event to celebrate natural medicine at HRH the Prince of Wales’ home in Tetbury, Highgrove.
Mani Norland, the principal of the school, and his group of faculty, were joined by around 100 other practitioners and professionals from the world of natural and conventional medicine for tours of the extensive grounds of Highgrove and a champagne reception.
Prince Charles later gave a talk on the importance of integrating natural medicine into healthcare, and his new clinic in Scotland.
The Royal Family have long been supporters and users of homeopathy and natural medicine. Her Majesty the Queen Mother was the principle royal patron of the British Homeopathic Society until her death aged 101.
Mani explained of his connection to the Prince, “I had the honour of meeting HRH in 2009 at an event in London. Back then HRH asked me to keep him updated on the School of Homeopathy’s activities and homeopathy in general.
“I have been writing to HRH each year. Last year, I suggested an event at Highgrove would help boost the profession and so to my great surprise the School was then invited to a Complementary Health Practitioner’s Reception at Highgrove.”
Mani explained how Prince Charles took the time to personally talk to each member of his group, including the school’s founder and his father, Misha Norland, Janet Snowdon and David Mundy, two of the School’s most senior faculty members and teachers, Aaron To, their Chinese course partner and Christine Lees, from Homeopathy at Wellie Level.
“We discussed the School, homeopathy in the UK and China, natural medicine and his new state-of-the-art clinic at Dumfries House (a stately home in Ayrshire) that will offer free ‘holistic’ care for patients referred from the NHS,” he continued.
