New state AYUSH mission will be formed next month

Patna: State AYUSH Mission will be formed next month. Its process has been completed. File related to this has been sent to the Finance Department. Once approved, it will be sent to the state cabinet.
The process of formation of the mission was started last year, but it could not be finalized for some technical reasons. State AYUSH Mission is to be formed on the lines of Central AYUSH Mission. Central AYUSH Mission was formed in 2014. After this, all state governments were ordered to set up this. In addition to the Director General in the Ayush Mission, the Director will have three posts.

In the financial year 2015-16, 34 crore were approved for the State AYUSH Mission. In this fund, 60 percent of the center and 40 percent of the state share. Two committees will be formed for the operation of AYUSH Mission. A governing body and the second executive committee.
The President of the Governing Body will be the Principal Secretary, State Secretary and Member Secretary, Health Department. The governing body will decide the policy of the State AYUSH Mission and the Executive Committee will implement this policy. The Chairman of the Executive Committee will be the Principal Secretary of Health Department and Member Secretary, AYUSH. The office of the State AYUSH Mission will be in the premises of the State Health Committee. The process of formation of the State AYUSH Mission is in progress.
